Jingle Bells (James Lord Pierpont) 4.06 Jessica Martin and Mark Steyn, vocals with orchestra arranged and conducted by Kevin Amos Mark and Jessica take a romp through an obscure little ditty about dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. It's been around since 1857, but Mark figured it was about time somebody made it a hit. This version has multiple verses, including the one about the sleigh getting "upsot". And, if you want to know about the number's background, you can discover the full story in Mark's book A Song For The Season.
"Jingle Bells" is also available in old-fashioned CD form on the brand new album Making Spirits Bright. |
